Samlaget is a one of the oldest Norwegian publishers, established in 1868. In their almost 150 year long history, they have been publishing Norwegian and translated authors of high quality.
Samlaget created their first digital product, the app Jakob & Neikob, using TapBookAuthor in 2011. Since then, they have produced a large number of single apps and bookshelves for the children’s market.
Just now we are developing a social reading app together. The app “Lesemeister” (“Reading Champion”) is a social reading app that contains gaming elements and adaptive technology. The app contains a huge number of digital titles from the Samlaget childrens books catalogue, and aims to motivate children in Primary School to read more, to read more often, to read faster and to read better.
